About Rockport Web Sites and Nancy Paulson
I specialize in helping businesses use the Internet to market their products and services. I recognize that the Internet is not the only way to market your products and services. Flyers, brochures, business cards and other print media are also important. I will work with you and your existing marketing efforts for branding by maintaining consistent look and feel.
I have been working with computers and the Internet since the late '80s, designing websites since the '90s and am now in my 16th year in business. I attribute my success to meeting the needs of my clients and delivering results. In 2014 we added development of Mobile Apps and in 2016 Location Services.
My clients tell me they appreciate my ability to:
- Problem solve to find the best, most cost-effective solutions
- Stay on top of technology and keep them informed of ways to stay ahead of their competition
- Communicate effectively to solve problems
- Pay attention to detail
- Finish the job in a timely manner.
Rockport Web Sites has been assisting the businesses of South Texas since 2006. We started out helping companies transition from paper to a web-based and computer-based system. Web sites, pdfs, templates, digital, CDs, DVDs - all became the new watch words. We started out in a small town in Colorado in 2001. After a relocation to the Coastal Bend of Texas and a name change, we are ready to work with you.
Nancy - owner and designer - started out as a teacher. Over the years she transitioned into training adults on classroom techniques and then computers. After receiving a Master's degree in Instructional Technology, she held the position of Technology Coordinator and Building Resource Teacher for a large high school. This position included the tasks of network administrator, trainer, webmaster for both an intranet and an external site.
Nancy started her first business as White Moments, then White Moments Design. Why the name - White Moments? In literature and popular culture a "white moment" is a defining moment in one's life. It can happen in your personal life, sports, or business. In older times they have been used and described as "The red-letter days or happy moments of life". The Romans used to mark unlucky days, in their calendars, with black chalk, and lucky ones with white chalk.
Thanks, for your business,
